How to read the catalogue

A model card shows the manufacturer, the floor area, the number of bedrooms and the starting price. Under the name is the artikul, which lets you find the same house again later.

The catalogue holds two kinds of entry. Models are houses a manufacturer offers and you can order. Completed projects are houses already built — social media posts usually lead to those.

An entry's page carries a mark showing where the data came from. Public data means we collected it from the manufacturer's public channels. Confirmed by the manufacturer means the manufacturer has reviewed it.

  1. 1The code under the name is the artikul.
  2. 2Floor area and bedrooms, where the manufacturer has published them.
  3. 3The price is a starting price. Most models do not carry one.

Artikul

An artikul is an entry's permanent code in the catalogue. It does not change when the manufacturer updates the name, the photos or the price, so the artikul will always find the same house again.

The code is a country marker plus a serial number. The country marker shows where the manufacturer is registered, not where the house is put up. A Finnish manufacturer's entry carries a code such as for its whole life.

How to search by artikul

Type the code into the catalogue search in full, hyphen included.

Searching by name can fail, because manufacturers reuse the same name for different models. An artikul is unambiguous.

Where an artikul comes from

  1. 1

An entry reaches the catalogue from public sources or from data the manufacturer sends us.

  2. 2

The entry is given an artikul, tied to the manufacturer's registry code.

  3. 3

The manufacturer can confirm the data, correct it, or have the entry removed from the catalogue.

Prices

A price in the catalogue is a starting price. It shows what a model's price starts from, without the plot, the foundation, transport, installation and interior finishing.

Most models carry no price. Manufacturers publish prices differently and many give a number only in response to an enquiry.

A starting price is not an offer. The final price comes from the manufacturer once the plot, the finishing and the delivery time are known.

Stages of a purchase

  1. 1

Pick the models from the catalogue that suit your plot and the size of your family.

  2. 2

Send an enquiry straight from the model page. It goes to the manufacturer.

  3. 3

The manufacturer sends an offer and spells out what the price includes.

  4. 4

You agree on the foundation, the connections, the delivery time and the payment schedule.

  5. 5

The house is produced in the factory and put up on the plot.

What to ask a manufacturer

These are worth asking before you confirm an offer.

  • What is included in the price and what comes on top.

  • Who builds the foundation and the connections on the plot.

  • Whether the price covers transport and installation on site.

  • What the delivery time is and what can move it.

  • What the warranty is and what it covers.

  • What the payment terms and schedule are.

For manufacturers

Your house gets posted with a code and people look it up. The code leads straight to the house's page, and the enquiry comes to you.
